I used to hate working out.

I know—weird thing for a full-time fitness professional to admit. But it’s the truth, and around here we keep it real. I saw exercise the same way many of my clients initially see it: boring, burdensome, and expensive. So what changed for me? Three little words…rhythm-based group fitness. As a lifelong dancer and big ol’ extrovert, finding rhythm-based fitness classes sparked something in me. I knew immediately that this was my place and these were my people. I was meant to do something BIG within this community.

As an international coach and consultant, fitness has taken me all around the world. From training clients while living in China with HIIT and indoor cycling at SPACE, to being a lululemon ambassador, to finding reformer-based movement as a trainer with [solidcore] and pilates with Equinox, and consulting with boutique studios to design and launch new modalities, I’ve amassed incredible knowledge and had the best experiences with amazing fitness leaders and learners. 

With allllllll of my experience, there’s one thing I know to be true:  If you aren’t enjoying how you move, it won’t stick.  

Let’s learn together and have FUN doing it. When was the last time you felt a little silly in a workout class? Enough of the obsession with optimization. My goal is to inspire my clients to MOVE. Period. Move in ways that feel good for you and help you build strength, fuel your spirit, and have you walking out of your workout class with a big fat sweaty smile.
